Frequently asked questions

What aspect ratios does it support?

Instagram (1:1, 4:5, 9:16 and 1.91:1), Pinterest (2:3 standard and long pin), YouTube thumbnail (16:9), TikTok (9:16), Facebook and X posts, plus a Freeform mode and a custom W : H input. Pick a preset and the crop frame locks to that ratio so you can only move and scale — never distort — your composition.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser using the HTML canvas. Your image never leaves your device, and nothing is stored on a server. You can even go offline after the page loads and it will still work.

Will cropping reduce my image quality?

No. The tool crops from your image at full original resolution, so there's no re-compression from resizing. Choose PNG for lossless output with transparency, or JPG if you want a smaller file — with a quality slider you control.
