Amazon FBA Barcode Generator

Render an FNSKU, UPC-A, EAN-13 or Code 128 barcode in your browser, verify the check digit, fit it to an Avery label, and download a print-ready PNG or SVG. Nothing is uploaded — the barcode is drawn on your device.

Amazon prints this X00… code on your FBA label. It renders as Code 128.

Enter a value to preview the barcode.

Preview is drawn on white so it scans. For crisp printing keep bar width ≥ 3 px at 300 DPI.

Frequently asked questions

What is an FNSKU and how do I make a barcode for it?

An FNSKU (Fulfillment Network SKU) is the code Amazon assigns to each product you send to FBA — it usually starts with "X00". Amazon expects the FNSKU printed as a Code 128 barcode on every unit. Paste the X00… string above, keep the symbology on FNSKU, and download a PNG or SVG. It is the same encoding Amazon's own label PDF uses, so a warehouse scanner reads it the same way.

Do I still need a real GS1 UPC?

Yes. This tool only draws a barcode from the digits you type — it does not create, register, or license a UPC. Amazon requires UPCs that are issued by GS1 and registered to your brand; a made-up 12-digit number may pass the checksum but will be rejected or flagged during listing. Buy GS1 numbers first, then use this to print them. For FNSKU labels no UPC is needed at all, because Amazon has already generated the FNSKU for you.

How is the UPC / EAN check digit calculated?

The last digit of a UPC-A or EAN-13 is a checksum that catches typos. We compute it with the standard mod-10 weighting (alternating ×3 and ×1 across the digits) entirely in your browser. Enter 11 digits for a UPC-A (or 12 for an EAN-13) and we add the correct check digit for you; enter the full code and we verify it and warn if it is wrong.

Which Avery label should I use?

For most FBA units the Avery 5160 (2.625 × 1 in, 30 per sheet) is the common choice, while the larger 5163 (4 × 2 in) suits shipping/case labels. Pick a size above and the download is centered on a white label of exactly those dimensions at 300 DPI, ready to drop into your Avery template. Choose "Fit to barcode" to export just the barcode with a quiet zone.
