This Privacy Policy explains how KitParlor ("we", "us", "the site") handles information when you use our website and tools. We have tried to keep it plain and honest. By using KitParlor you agree to the practices described below.
Your files are processed in your browser
KitParlor's tools are designed to work entirely on your own device. When you drop in or select an image, that file is read and processed locally in your web browser using standard browser APIs. Your files are never uploaded to our servers, never transmitted over the internet, and never stored or seen by us. When you close or reload the page, any image you were working on is gone from memory. This is the core of how KitParlor is built.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, email addresses or file contents through the tools. Like most websites, our hosting provider and third-party services described below may automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as:
- Your browser type, device type and operating system;
- Your approximate location (derived from your IP address);
- The pages you visit on KitParlor and how you arrived (for example, a search engine or a link);
- General usage statistics such as page views.
This information is used in aggregate to understand which tools are useful, to keep the site running, and to serve relevant advertising. It is not used to personally identify you.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. KitParlor itself does not require cookies to function. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of KitParlor after changes means you accept the updated policy.
